About
Our Shiomi introduces how Shiomi in Kōtō-ku, Tokyo came to be and what it is like today. Shiomi was built on the "No. 8 Reclaimed Land", licensed in 1924 and filled with garbage and dredged soil; in 1968 it was incorporated into Kōtō-ku and named Shiomi.
Move the map through the years to watch the sea become land and the district grow. Content is written in Japanese from Japanese sources, then translated into English.
